I created Easy Read from my own experience of struggling with Dyslexia. I suffered with the condition throughout my school years and really wanted to find a solution for other people, so that they would find reading much easier than I did and not experience the embarrassment or discomfort that I felt when being asked to read, especially out loud.
Easy Read not only wants to help children with dyslexia read more easily but we also want to help raise awareness of the learning disability. Easy Read was created in June 2019 as the result of a college project and since then the business has sparked into life. We are a small business looking to help a large number of children.
I am excited to launch my business, especially as it has already won the National Entrepreneur of the year 2019, competition run by Peter Jones from Dragon’s Den.

I was seriously impressed by Natasha’s pitch. She’s taken her own experiences to create a product with real commercial potential.” Peter Jones CBE, Head of Trustees, Peter Jones Foundation
The Judges were bowled over by both the excellent presentation and fantastic branding of this product. But more so, they were inspired by an incredible pitch that won over both their hearts and minds, with a real commercial opportunity that could also change people’s lives.’’ Jonny Sobczyk Boddington, CEO, Peter Jones Foundation
